Landscape App with Strategy

Viper are working with a number of partners to develop a landscape based app. At this early stage Viper are helping to streamline the business need and the target audience for the to ensure it’s not a gimmick and is embedded in a wider programme.

Apps are now widely considered as an important part of any brand strategy. They can build on the familiarity of a brand by users seeing the app everyday on their phone, even if they don’t use it. They can increase the value of the ‘customer journey’ by providing ease of access to services, news and offers.

Get the app wrong though and a lot of development time and money can be wasted. Don’t just do it because you can. Ensure the app is part of a wider programme, that there is sufficient ongoing support for updates and that you have a marketing plan for the launch. Otherwise it could be the virtual equivalent of that box of leaflets still propping open the door.
