Clare Crow is 9 years old. A fairly average girl but despite her young age, she’s already been rescued from water twice now. The first time was from a dew pond on a windswept moorland plateau. The second was from rising flood waters caused by an abnormal tidal swell over topping the waters of a normally tranquil tidal estuary. This second occasion was in the company of her father. On both of these times the rescues have resulted in strategically pivotal moments for Avon & Somerset Search and Rescue (A&S SAR).
