Successful relationships are built on a common understanding. The Surrey Hills Society and the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty team cemented their successful relationship with a joint communication planning day on Friday with the Viper team. The Society is a rapidly growing group that wants to be more 'public-facing', allowing the AONB team to concentrate on policy issues. Thanks to the Viper communication planning day members of each group now understand the target audiences of the Society, messages and tools they need to use. Through sitting, discussing and listening the people on the planning day know what their individual communication targets are and their part in the bigger picture. Everyone stands to gain from playing their part. Great partnerships happen because each body shares the success.
