Viper Strategic

Enthusiasm in need of a plan

Viper Case Study

The Brief

Community DJ's and youth workers in South Bristol with a grand idea; start a digital radio station to act as a focal point for local young people, their music and culture. Great concept, great enthusiasm but no plan or identity.

The Solution

Through the trusty medium of Post-it notes a plan was formed in the Tobacco Factory, Southville. This became the spiritual home of BASE Radio thanks to its community ideals. Viper met them every other Monday to move the plan forward step-by-step. Tasks were allocated, actions ticked off. Other plans came from the grand plan; fundraising, identity, marketing, contacts.

The Result

BASE Radio got an identity they liked, they applied to become a Community Interest Company, they held a facilitated (by Viper) meeting of the great and good that could help them along the way, they were offered studio space at the Tobacco Factory. A group of individuals with great ideas came together with a simple plan they could achieve.... branding and initial website concepts were created by Viper.
