What’s it like working in a paperless office?
I can't believe how fast time flies each week, everything is busy in Viper world at the moment with various campaigns, clients, and music stuff. Writing this blog I can't believe it's been six-months since I joined Viper now. When I first started at Viper I was stunned that they were a 'paperless office'. Now I have to be honest and say that, I did not completely believe them (sorry guys)! I thought they had shuffled paper around or magically hidden it as the office space was immaculate. a lovely bookcase full of fabulous books and a couple of minute piles of paper but, other than that there wasn't anything.
Now that I have been working within the Viper code and their environmental policy, it is 100% what Jim had posted up on his blog last week. All of us work together to keep to this and the only paper that I really use is my notebook to jot down various notes at meetings or just general research notes. Notebooks and anything paper (yes, including all of our wonderful post-its) are all recyclable and we make sure that anything used which is recyclable is then recycled either to Viper's cute little rabbits' hutch or the recycling bins.
In regards to our printing resources we do our very best to source an environmentally friendly printer's when possible, and one of our suppliers even uses vegetable inks!
ViperSpace is a beautiful office and works perfectly with our environmental policy running alongside it. Looking out of the office with a lovely mug of fairtrade coffee on the desk and brainstorming/typing away with the best views an office in the SW could ask for!
