Viper Case Study

The Brief

New company that uses harvested bracken as a bio-fuel needed a brand and website. The logo needed to emphasize the use of the bracken and appear as an warm, trust-worthy and established product. A website to support the product and explain the process was also required.

The Solution

The 'burn' element of the Brackenburn title was highlighted as the most important part of the word. The highlight represents the burner where the bracken will end up. Warm colours were chosen to act as a strong theme to hang the rest of the design from. The colours all indicate the autumn season when the bracken is harvested. The website was given a cleaner finish to allow a variety of target audiences to focus on the text that was relevant tot hem. Complex background information needed to be put across without gimmicks getting in the way. As this isalso a new product people would need convincing of its relevance and use. A clear, clean and simple design supported the serious approach the developers were taking. 

The Result

A versatile logo that can be stripped down and a website that is helping the developers secure more funding for the product.
