​Exmoor National Park Authority have awarded Viper Marketing the contract to turn a Phd study into a guide for tourism organisations on Exmoor.

The study from the University of Exmoor look at turning the special qualities of Exmoor into special experiences for visitors.

Viper’s experience at working with protected landscape teams, delivering marketing training for tourism businesses and using engaging techniques to communicate principles helped us win the contract.

Jim Hardcastle at Viper said “Like any good film the viewer’s first ‘touch’ is vital to get them to watch further. Based on our experience with the South West Outdoor Activity Toolkit, where we created a mock London Tube map of locations and activities to make people smile, we have proposed a unique theme to create engagement. These act as talking points and encourage people (and journalists) to share the content. We look forward to revealing that them in due course.”

Jim is also doing two workshops at a conference in Minehead at the start of November to introduce the work. Details to follow.
