A workshop title that raised wry smiles throughout the audiences during the day indicated that the subject was certainly now on their radar.

Challenging the status quo, those who had merely set up a Linkedin account but had yet to optimise it or use it strategically, were introduced to a host of business and personal benefits of doing so.

Leading to the Top 10 Tips for becoming digitally extrovert, attendees were polarised in their feedback. On the one hand there were those who engaged, saw the benefit and pledged to go away and become more immersed in social media to become more digitally extrovert. On the other hand a number could not see a significant benefit of changing well proven business practices and decided to park the opportunity for another day.

The Result

The concept of the Digitally Extrovert Actuary has struck a chord withing the profession with a further masterclass presented to the 60 strong Bristol Actuarial Society.
